Galway Community Circus is hosting its annual Family Fun Day in the Millennium Park on Sunday the 24th of June at 2-5pm. This free event will include Circus skills workshops, live music, barbeque, face painting, balloon modeling, fu

n games and the spectacular End of Year Show by the young Galway Community Circus performers. The event is open to the public free of charge and promises to be a fun filled day for chil

dren and adults alike. Drop in on the day to show your support for a good cause and enjoy the fun, food, music and games. Ireland’s first dedicated youth circus, Galway Community Circus is a charitable organisation built on fun, innovation and a commitment to inspiring and empowering people through circus arts. Since 2002, they have been at the forefront of teaching circus skills to young people, helping them to discover and develop their talents, and in some cases, laying the foundation for a lifelong vocation. They offer weekly circus arts training programmes and outreach workshops in a range of circus skills, such as aerial acrobatics and various forms of juggling, for young people and adults. Circus in the Park marks the end of the current Galway Community Circus’ term but there will be plenty going on during the summer between Festivals and summer camps. A new circus term will begin in mid-September with an exciting new programme.
