Fringe – Announcing Galway’s Newest festival!

Running from 12th-30th of July 2012

Announcing Galway’s Newest festival! Running from 12th-30th of July 2012, Galway Fringe Festival aims to provide a platform for local artists, writers, playwrights, poets, actors and musicians to perform and showcase new work. The Galway Fringe is both a curated and open-access Festival. The curated part of our programme represents innovative new work across all art forms that has been commissioned by the Festival. Their open-access programme aims to encourage emerging artists to showcase their work, and to provide a full spectrum Arts Festival encompassing theatre, music, literature, visual arts, dance, film and events. They aim to promote the use of the Irish language arts through singing, storytelling, puppetry and music, and to elicit new developments.

They need artists and volunteers to make it happen, though, so head on over to http://www.galwayfringe.ie and let them know via the artist & volunteer registration page!
