Return of The 30 Minute Film Festival

Return of The 30 Minute Film Festival
Following on from the success of The 30 Minute Film Festival at last year’s Galway Film Fleadh, Galway Film Centre and Solid Media will be running the event again this July 2012.

Filmmakers/ Film Enthusiasts are invited to make a one minute HD film, which can be uploaded onto Youtube. 30 x 1 minute films will be selected by a panel of judges and they will be screened at a special public event on July 15th of Galway Film Fleadh 2012.

At that event, 2 awards will be given, the Judges Award and the Audience Award. Prizes will be announced shortly. The winning films will be available to watch on the websites of all organisations involved for some time after the Festival.

Last year’s winners were Lilou, by Ruth Meehan and Got your Nose, by Keith White. This is a great opportunity to get your work seen by an audience at this international festival. Entry to this competition is free! All genres are welcome including documentary. Animation is also welcome. The only condition is that it’s a one minute HD film and it is uploaded onto a private link on Youtube.

Deadline for Entry: Midnight (GMT) TUESDAY JULY 10TH 2012
How to Enter: Go to http://www.solidmedia.ie/30/ and follow the instructions.
